Review: InstaCart.com says, “Coastal Vibes wine lets your mind escape to golden sand beaches, cool breezes, and carefree moments. Our wines beautifully capture the essence of an oceanside getaway: relaxing and blissful”. This is pretty much the only review I could find for this particular wine. Wine Folly: Wine Folly describes rosé wines as having notes of strawberry, honeydew melon, rose petal, citrus zest, and celery. I definitely taste the strawberry, berry, and rose petal of this strawberry rosé, but not so much the citrus zest or celery. Wine Folly recommends serving this wine at 38-45 degrees Fahrenheit and I had mine slightly chilled from being in the fridge, so I can agree it was best done this way. Wine Folly also notes that a rosé wine is best served with fresh fruit or cold appetizers, as well as a summer day. I had mine with strawberry cheesecake! (https://winefolly.com/wines/provence-rose/)
Personal Review: This wine reminded me of the Winking Owl White Zinfandel I had a few weeks prior. It was very sweet and gave off the same watermelon juice vibe. It was definitely different from the other rosés I’ve had, in terms of taste, but I guess that would be due to the strawberry component in this particular wine. This wine was very light and mellow overall, and had notes of light red berries and peach. My boyfriend and I had this paired with some strawberry cheesecake while we were camping over spring break. It was a fantastic combination!
