Review: Tastings.com describes as “Golden straw color. Aromas and flavors of slightly burned toast, bruised yellow apple, parmesan rind, and apple blossom with a satiny, bright, dry light-to-medium body and a tingling, brisk finish with shades of dried apricot, bruised apple, hard cheese, and mango. Simple and straightforward, this is a pleasant enough table wine.” (https://www.tastings.com/Wine-Review/Coastal-Vibes-NV-Pinot-Grigio-California-USA-12-04-2022.aspx)
Wine Folly: Wine Folly describes Pinot Gris (AKA Pinot Grigio) as having primary flavors of white peach, lemon zest, cantaloupe, raw almond, and crushed gravel. I definitely got the white peach and melon, as this wine was pretty much like a juice of the two combined. This wine was served chilled, as we got it from the store, and Wine Folly recommends this. A white wine glass was recommended, but we only had our travel coffee mugs to use as cups for our Spring Break trip, so we used those and they worked just as fine. Personal Review: I absolutely looooove a pinot grigio and I’m glad this particular one is continuing that trend. I liked this one so much I had to buy another bottle to take home! The fruity, florally, crisp, apple-y taste of this pinot grigio made an evening spent on the beach in Georgia, watching the sun go down, feel so calm and unwinding.
