Review: Totalwine.com says this wine is a “medium-bodied, sweet red blend packed with luscious raspberry and black cherry notes. Pair with spicy cuisine, salty cheeses, fresh fruit and dark chocolate”. (https://www.totalwine.com/wine/red-wine/red-blend/linganore-mountain-red/p/195480750)
Wine Folly: Wine Folly describes concord wine as tasting like grape, plum sauce, musk, potting soil, and cumin. I didn’t really get anything other than grape and sweetness out of this wine, as it literally tasted like a grape jelly wine. It’s also recommended that this wine is served at 55-60 degrees fahrenheit, which I did. (https://winefolly.com/grapes/concord/)
Personal Review: I think I’ve found a new favorite wine of all time. Upon the first sip, I was instantly transported back to my days in elementary school when my mom would fix me peanut butter and grape jelly sandwiches for lunch. This wine tasted exactly like the Welch’s grape jelly that would get all over my face and mouth (and sometimes my lap too) when I ate a PB&J when I was younger. This wine was super sweet and would be absolutely fabulous with some fresh out of the oven peanut butter cookies. This wine would be perfect for individuals just getting into wine!
