Review: On cellartracker.com, user mahmudn described this wine as, “medium intensity aromas of charred wood, smoke, prunes, cherries, and tomato vine. Dry, medium acidity, medium tannin, medium alcohol, medium body, and medium finish. Medium intensity flavors of bitter cherries, dry smoked wood, and craisins. Much like many of the Costco advent wines, neat nose but flat on the palate” (https://www.cellartracker.com/wine.asp?iWine=4511517).
Wine Folly: Wine Folly describes cabernet sauvignon as having notes of black cherry, black currant, cedar, baking spices, and graphite. From this particular wine, I really got the black cherry and baking spices. This wine was just dark and full of hearty flavor. The type of wine glass Wine Folly recommends for drinking a cabernet sauvignon is an oversized one, which I used, to maximize the amount of sniffing and swirling you can get out of the wine. Personal Review: This cabernet sauvignon was pretty much like any other cabernet sauvignon I’ve had, there was nothing too special about it. It was bold, super tannic, and very plummy and jammy. I think it was dry and tasted like dried fruit and was earthy in taste, as well. It just gave off a natural kind of taste.
